Waylon L.

Waylon L. has a diverse range of work experience. Waylon is the Founder and CEO of Cipher Ground, a company focused on genetics research and inheritance. Waylon also founded Cipher Gene, which brings together experts to analyze cancer genomes for precise clinical therapy. Waylon has experience as the International Business Director for Home and Abroad News Press and as the CEO of Lantsai Tech, where they gained recognition for inventing smart tags to monitor food freshness. Additionally, they worked as a Postdoc at Rutgers University and currently serves as the Head of the Asia Office for Shanaka Capital GmbH, specializing in financial analysis and deal negotiation.

Waylon L. has a strong educational background in genetics. Waylon began their academic journey at Yangzhou University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Biotechnology from 1998 to 2002. Waylon then pursued further studies at the Chinese Academy of Sciences as a Ph.D. student in Genetics from 2002 to 2005. Waylon L. later attended Iowa State University, where they earned their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Genetics from 2006 to 2012. Additionally, Waylon L. has obtained certifications such as a Commercial Driver's License (CDL)A from the U.S. Department of Transportation in March 2023, and has passed the CFA Level I examination from the CFA Institute in 2021. In 2016, Waylon L. also earned a Qualification in Fund Practice from the Asset Management Association of China.
