Udayan Dasgupta

Udayan Dasgupta is an accomplished IT executive with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical and consumer goods industries. Currently serving as Vice President of IT - Markets at Cipla since May 2021, Udayan leads technology and digital initiatives across various regions, including India and North America. Previously, Udayan was the Head of ITS Business Partner for Sanofi in India, focusing on aligning business strategies and driving digital transformation. An earlier tenure at Procter & Gamble spanned nearly two decades, where Udayan held multiple roles responsible for IT solutions in sales, customer service operations, and manufacturing delivery across the IMEA region. Udayan's career began at Tata Motors as an IT Manager, where production planning systems were developed. Udayan holds an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow, and a Bachelor of Technology in Metallurgy from the Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University).
