Peter Nelson

Peter Nelson is an accomplished technology executive with extensive experience in leading engineering and product development efforts across various companies. Currently serving as Chief Technology Officer at CIQ since July 2025, Nelson previously held the position of Vice President of Engineering at Apple's Claris Organization from February 2020 to July 2025, where responsibilities included overseeing the Workplace Innovation Platform and product roadmap. With a solid background as Chief Product Officer at Caavo and Bowers & Wilkins, as well as early leadership roles at EVA Automation and Amdocs, Nelson has demonstrated a strong capability in growing teams and driving innovation. A founder of Curosoft, Nelson also has experience from his time at Clarify and Napster, along with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Harvey Mudd College.
