CIRAD
Eric Etter is a seasoned veterinarian epidemiologist with extensive experience in animal health and epidemiology. Currently employed at CIRAD since 2003, Etter has previously held positions as a biostatistician at AFSSA and as a veterinary practitioner at Clinique Vétérinaire du Chemin de Pierre. From 2000 to 2001, Etter served as the Responsable Santé Animale et HIDAOA at the Direction Interarmée du Service de Santé. Academic qualifications include an Habilitation à diriger des recherches (HDR) in Epidemiology from the University of Montpellier, a PhD in Environmental Science and Sustainable Development from the Institut National d'Agronomie Paris-Grignon, and a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from École nationale vétérinaire d'Alfort - EnvA.
