Jenickson Costa has extensive experience in the field of forestry and human resources, serving as the founding member and Director of Human Resources at Unifica Floresta Júnior from April 2018 to August 2019. Following this role, Jenickson worked as a postgraduate researcher at Instituto de Pesquisas e Estudos Florestais (IPEF) from March 2021 to February 2023 and held the position of Forest Nursery Monitor at Universidade Federal Rural do Semi-Árido (Ufersa) from August 2019 to February 2020. Additionally, two significant research projects were undertaken as a scientific initiation scholar, resulting in multiple published articles and presentations at national and international conferences. Jenickson is currently a Visiting Researcher at CIRAD since November 2024 and earlier participated in the Petrobrás Young Apprentice Program under Funcern. Academic qualifications include a Master's degree in Forestry Science from UNESP and a Doctorate in Forest Resources from the Escola Superior de Agricultura "Luiz de Queiroz".
