Sylvie Lecollinet is a Senior Research Scientist with extensive experience in virology, currently working at CIRAD since December 2020, focusing on the study of arbovirus emergence and the development of detection and control tools for vector-borne viruses. Previously, Sylvie served as a Senior Research Scientist at ANSES from April 2007 to December 2020, managing the French Reference Laboratory for West Nile and African Horse Sickness Viruses, along with reference and research activities on West Nile and equine viral encephalitis. Sylvie's academic background includes a PhD in Virology from Université Paris Cité, as well as multiple advanced degrees in the field of veterinary sciences. In addition to ongoing doctoral studies, Sylvie is pursuing Habilitation à Diriger des Recherches at Paris-Sud University and a veterinary thesis at Université Paris-Est Créteil.
