Michael Ellgass

Michael Ellgass currently serves as EVP Media, CPG and Retail at Circana since March 2023. Previously, Michael held the position of EVP Global Retail Marketing Solutions at IRI from September 2016 to March 2023, contributing to the integration of extensive data to drive growth for CPGs, retailers, and media companies. Michael founded and led Ellephant Mambo from December 2015 to March 2023, focusing on authentic marketing communications. Prior roles include EVP Marketing at Advantage Marketing, Vice President of Marketing at Walmart, and various leadership positions at Walmart and Sam's Club, where Michael drove substantial revenue growth and implemented strategic marketing initiatives. Michael's career in marketing began at Kraft Foods, where significant brand growth and innovation were achieved across multiple product lines. Michael holds an MBA in Marketing from Wake Forest University and a BA in Finance from Indiana University Bloomington.
