Tod Johnson

Tod Johnson is the Co-Founder and Managing Director of Duo Partners, a New York-based investment and consulting firm, since 2022. They previously served as the Executive Chairman of The NPD Group until July 31, 2022, leading the company since its inception in 1971. As of August 1, 2022, they became the chair of the board and a consultant for the NPD/IRI merger. Tod is recognized for their innovative contributions to the field of marketing information, holding patents for in-home scanning methods and having expertise in brand loyalty and equity. Their extensive board engagements include leadership roles at The Metropolitan Opera and CivicScience, alongside a longstanding connection with Carnegie Mellon University, where they received BS and MSIA degrees.
