James Preston

James Preston has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. James is currently working as a Software Developer at Circit since 2023. Prior to this, they worked at BD as a Senior Software Engineer from January 2022 to December 2022 and as a Software Engineer from July 2020 to December 2021. Before BD, James worked at Glass, Lewis & Co. as a Software Engineer from September 2019 to June 2020. James also has experience as a Software Developer at Kneat Solutions from June 2016 to August 2019, where they were responsible for updating and maintaining ASP.NET MVC application and implementing ASP.NET Web API endpoints.

Before their time at Kneat Solutions, James had internships as a Software Engineer at Snap-on Diagnostics from January 2015 to September 2015 and June 2014 to September 2014. James also worked as an App Development Course Instructor at Centre of Talented Youth Ireland and as a Games Development Course Instructor at Centre for Academic Achievement in 2014.

James started gaining professional experience with internships at Snap-on Diagnostics as an Intern Applications Engineer/SQA Engineer in 2013 and as an Intern Localization Engineer/Applications Engineer in 2012. Throughout their career, James has showcased their expertise in software development and engineering roles.

James Preston earned a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Computer Games Development from the University of Limerick, where they attended from 2012 to 2016.
