Dan Hoffman

Dan Hoffman has a long and varied career in business. Dan began their career in 1997 as an Associate at the Boston Consulting Group. Dan then moved on to become a Consultant at Interport Communications, where they learned all about the Internet. In 1998, they founded Global Internet Group and quickly merged it with Softbank Ventures-backed Asia Online, where they served as Managing Director and head of operations. Dan then joined ShoreTel in 2012 as President and General Manager of the Cloud Division and briefly served as Chief Strategy Officer before moving on to Hoffman Industries as CEO. Dan also served as Board Chairman of Workshop in Business Opportunities in 2007 and was a Member of YPO in 2006. In 2014, they were selected as a Henry Crown Fellow at the Aspen Institute, where they read great thinkers, discussed, and learned. Most recently, in 2016, they founded and became CEO of Circl.es, which helps small groups engage meaningfully, virtually and at scale.

Dan Hoffman obtained their High School Diploma from Horace Mann in 1987. Dan then attended Harvard University from 1987 to 1991, where they earned an AB in Slavic Language and Literature. In 1996, they obtained a Master's Degree from The Lauder Institute at the University of Pennsylvania in International/Global Studies, and an MBA from The Wharton School in Entrepreneurial Management. In 2016, they attended IESE Business School to gain further knowledge in Building and Leading High-Performance Teams.
