Alex Chen

Alex (Yuhao) Chen is an experienced Data Scientist currently working at Circle since April 2022, focusing on USDC Growth, Multi-chain USDC, and CCTP Initiatives. Prior to this role, Alex co-founded BoxWhite, where responsibilities included leading a machine learning project for a top-tier fast-moving consumer goods client and managing a cross-functional team of over 10 ML engineers and data scientists. During a tenure at Walmart Global Tech, Alex served as a Data Scientist in two positions, contributing to the development of an A/B testing platform and experimenting with marketing performance. Early career experience includes a Data Scientist Internship at Walmart Global Tech and a Data Mining Engineer role at Ping An Technology. Alex holds a Master of Engineering in Industrial Engineering & Operations Research from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering & Computer Science from Xi'an Jiaotong University, along with a summer program in E-Commerce from the National University of Singapore.
