Jay Logelin is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in the blockchain and cryptography sectors. Currently serving as a Staff Engineer at PrivacyCircle since May 2025, Logelin focuses on enabling verifiable and private transactions on-chain. Previously, in the role of Chief Technology Officer at Gateway from October 2024 to May 2025, Logelin worked on bringing programmable cryptography, including MPC, ZK, and FHE, to a broader audience. As Principal Blockchain Engineer at Zama, from January 2024 to October 2024, Logelin specialized in FHE applications on the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM). Logelin's earlier experience includes serving as Technical Lead and Principal Software Engineer at Protocol Labs, where contributions were made to Filecoin, IPFS, and libp2p, along with a tenure as Technical Lead for Smart Contract Standards at Near Inc. Logelin holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science with Honors from Harvard University and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from DeVry University.
