Jeff Tang

Jeff Tang, JD, MBA, currently serves as Chief Intellectual Property Counsel at Circle and is a member of TechGC. Prior to these roles, Jeff held the position of Vice President of Intellectual Property at BlackRock, where strategic development of IP programs and compliance with privacy regulations were key responsibilities. Previous experience includes serving as Associate Counsel for Corporate and Intellectual Property at ICAP, where Jeff led the intellectual property program, and as an Intellectual Property Attorney at IBM, focusing on technology licensing and due diligence for M&A transactions. Earlier in the career, Jeff was a Patent Examiner at the USPTO, earning two accelerated promotions. Jeff holds an MBA from Cornell University, a JD from New York Law School, and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Maryland.
