Matt Cavin

Matt Cavin is a senior commercial leader currently serving as Senior Director of Business Development, Americas at Circle. They have extensive experience in go-to-market strategy, product management, and corporate strategy within the payments industry. Previously, they held prominent roles at Mastercard, where they were the first Head of Buy Now Pay Later globally, and at Openpay as Vice President, Head of Strategy. Matt's earlier experience includes positions at Deloitte, Intermedix, Techstars, and various startups, reflecting their strong background in strategic partnerships and product development across the financial services and tech sectors. They are pursuing an MBA in Finance and Entrepreneurship at The University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
