Mike Smyth

Mike Smyth is an experienced finance professional currently serving as the VP, Head of FP&A at Circle since January 2025. Previously, Mike held the position of Head of GTM Finance at Checkout.com from February 2022 to January 2025, where responsibilities included global revenue forecasting and collaboration with sales leadership. Before that, Mike was the Head of FP&A for Novi at Meta, leading a team for financial planning and analysis for the fintech unit. Mike's background also includes a role in Corporate FP&A at Amazon, where oversight of headcount reporting and analysis was key. Earlier experience comprises senior financial analyst roles at NYSE and Morgan Stanley, focused on revenue analysis and budgeting. Mike holds an MBA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Marketing from the University of Delaware. Additional education includes a study abroad program in Florence, Italy.
