Nima Elmi serves as the VP of Strategy & Policy at Circle since July 2024, leading policy engagements and regulatory strategy across EMEA. Nima is also a co-founder of The Africa Dialogues, a community aimed at promoting Africa’s digital revolution, and chairs Legacy, a start-up focused on the male fertility industry. As a Young Global Leader with the World Economic Forum since 2016, Nima has contributed to governmental engagement strategies for emerging technologies. Previous roles include Head of Public Policy at Bumble, CEO & Co-Founder of Africa House, Special Adviser for the African Union Peace Fund, and Chief of Staff at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs & International Cooperation in Somaliland. Nima's legal background includes experience as an associate at Allen & Overy and a research fellowship at Harvard Law School. Nima holds a Master of Laws from Harvard, a Legal Practice Course from Oxford, and a Bachelor of Laws from King's College London.
