Robert Phung

Robert Phung serves as the Director of Tax Operations at Circle since September 2022. Prior to this role, Robert held the position of Global Tax Director at Zynga from September 2014 to September 2022, where responsibilities included overseeing financial closes, preparing tax provisions and calculations, and managing SEC reporting. Robert's earlier experience includes serving as a Tax Senior at Ernst & Young LLP from 2010 to 2014, focusing on tax returns and provisions for multinational corporations, and coaching staff on compliance engagements. Robert began his career as a driver at FedEx from 2005 to 2009. Robert holds a B.S. in Business with a concentration in Accounting from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo and is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of California.
