Amine K.

Data Scientist at CircleCI

Amine K. has a solid work experience in the field of data science and AI research. They are currently working as a Data Scientist at CircleCI since March 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Ponicode as a Data Scientist starting from January 2021. Before transitioning into the industry, Amine worked as an AI Researcher at Corpy&Co. from January 2019, where they managed a project team focused on mobility and self-driving cars. They also developed a deep learning pipeline for semantic segmentation and worked on explainable AI for self-driving vehicles in collaboration with a major automotive company. Continuing their academic journey, Amine completed an MSc Thesis Individual project at Imperial College London in 2018, where they implemented a deep learning framework to predict user privacy scores for Sovrin, a decentralized identity platform. They also simulated user interactions and generated a claims dataset for privacy prediction. Prior to that, Amine worked as an R&D - Data Scientist intern at NAVYA TECHNOLOGY in 2017, where they created data analysis and visualization tools, as well as used unsupervised learning methods for traffic incident detection and matching. Additionally, Amine has experience in research and development from their roles as an Assistant Researcher at Keio University Haptics Center and as a participant in a school project at Ecole Centrale de Nantes.

Amine K. completed a Master of Science in Advanced Computing with a Machine Learning major at Imperial College London from 2017 to 2018. Prior to that, from 2015 to 2018, they earned a Diplôme d'ingénieur in Computer Science from Ecole centrale de Nantes. Their undergraduate studies include a BSc in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Mechanical Engineering and Mathematics from Pierre and Marie Curie University, which they completed from 2012 to 2015, and a Licence 1 in Mathematics and Computer Science, which they completed in 2012 to 2013, also at Pierre and Marie Curie University.
