Atul Singh

Atul Singh has extensive work experience in the IT industry, with a focus on cloud architecture, data engineering, and ETL processes. Atul is currently employed as a Sr. K8s | AWS | GCP | Cloud | Server Wrangler at CircleCI since November 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Sr. Cloud | Infra Architect at Thomson Reuters from April 2021 to October 2021.

From 2018 to 2021, Atul served as an Openshift | Kubernetes | Cloud Architect at RBC Wealth Management. Atul also worked as a Senior Technical Consultant in Analytics, ETL, and Cloud at Iris Software Inc. from March 2016 to April 2021.

Before joining Iris Software, Atul worked as a Consultant in Analytics and ETL at Deloitte India (Offices of the US) from April 2015 to March 2016. Atul also served as a Sr. DataStage Administrator/Developer at UST Global from December 2013 to March 2015.

Atul started their career at IBM in July 2010, where they worked as a Lead DataStage Developer in the Business Analytics and Optimization (BAO) group. Atul was responsible for developing high-performance ETL jobs and working with Fact and Dimension tables. Atul'stenure at IBM lasted until December 2013.

In addition to their professional roles, Atul has also been actively involved in the IT community as a blogger, sharing their knowledge and insights on topics such as ML/DA/DWH/ETL/DataStage since December 2011.

Atul Singh has a Master of Technology degree in Data Analytics from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani. Atul also holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Computer Science & Engineering from Harcourt Butler Technical University and Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University. In addition to their formal education, Atul has obtained several certifications, including CKA: Certified Kubernetes Administrator from The Linux Foundation, Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Application Development from Red Hat, Red Hat Certified Specialist in Containers and Kubernetes from Red Hat, M101P: MongoDB for Developers from MongoDB, IBM Certified Database Administrator - DB2 9 for Linux, UNIX and Windows from IBM, Teradata 12 Certified Professional from Teradata, IBM Certified Solution Developer - InfoSphere DataStage v8.5 from IBM, IBM Certified System Administrator - AIX 6.1 from IBM, and ITIL v3 Foundation from PEOPLECERT.
