Chad Chabot

Chad Chabot's work experience includes a role as a Senior Software Engineer at CircleCI since March 2022. In this position, they are responsible for working on the Test & Debug team to improve software development processes.

Before joining CircleCI, Chad worked as a Co-Founder at Fairly Frosted Inc since May 2012.

Prior to that, Chad was employed at Amazon from October 2019 to December 2021. Chad held the role of SDE 2 - Amazon Fulfillment Tech & Alexa Mobile and was a member of the Alexa Platform team. Chad'sresponsibilities included developing the host application used by feature and domain teams, as well as launching the initial widget offering in 2021.

Chad also took a paternity leave from April 2019 to October 2019 while working at Amazon.

From October 2016 to April 2019, Chad worked at Amazon as an SDE2 - iOS developer. Chad contributed to the Alexa Mobile group and played a key role in launching Alexa Voice for iOS.

Chad has also worked at Axonify as a Software Developer from June 2015 to February 2016. Chad primarily focused on improving and expanding the front-end training system, admin reports, and building the new version of DiscoveryZone.

Before joining Axonify, Chad worked as a Full Stack Developer at Happenate from July 2014 to May 2015. Chad contributed to transitioning the product to focus on a B2B marketplace.

Chad's work experience also includes a role as a Software Developer - Integration Manager at Tulip Retail from November 2013 to June 2014. Chad was responsible for spec development, coding, and acting as the tech lead for client projects. Prior to this role, they worked as a Software Developer at Tulip Retail from April 2013 to November 2013.

Additionally, Chad worked as an Information Assistant at Elections Ontario during the provincial election in 2014.

Chad's career began as a Software Developer at Well.ca in August 2012. The development team at Well.ca later became a separate company, Tulip Retail, in April 2013. Chad was involved in front-end development for customer-facing e-commerce sites and internal tools during their time at Well.ca.

Chad Chabot completed their education at the University of Guelph, where they obtained a Bachelor of Computing degree with honours in Computer Science. Chad graduated from this institution in 2012.
