Joaquin Mariel currently serves as the President for the West Region and Chief Commercial Officer at Circular Services since July 2025. Previously, Joaquin held several key positions at Balcones Resources from February 2015 to July 2025, including Chief Commercial Officer, Chief Operating Officer, Vice President of Operations, and General Manager, overseeing the operations of a state-of-the-art Material Recovery Facility and a recycling collection infrastructure servicing Central Texas. Before Balcones Resources, Joaquin worked at Ecology Action of Texas from June 2012 to February 2015 as Assistant General Manager and previously served as Executive Director and Director of Fundraising and Development from June 2007 to May 2011. Joaquin holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from The University of Texas at Austin and studied at Saint Louis University.
