Matt McDermott

Matt McDermott is an experienced leader in the recycling industry, currently serving as Vice President at Circular Services since November 2023. Previously, Matt held various positions at Midwest Fiber Recycling from December 2004 to November 2023, including Director of Commodity Sales and General Manager at a dual plant specializing in commercial and single-stream recycling in Normal, IL, as well as Plant Manager at a commercial recycling facility in Decatur, IL. Prior to that, Matt worked as Controller at Excel Group from September 2002 to December 2004 and served as Accounting Manager at Richland Sales Corporation from July 1995 to September 2002. Matt earned a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Millikin University between 1991 and 1995.
