Adrian McKenzie has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Adrian is currently working as the Director of Software Engineering at Cirium since July 2020. Prior to this role, Adrian worked at Snowflake Software where they held multiple positions including Head of Delivery, Support & IT Operations from June 2017 to July 2020, Head of Software Development & IT Operations from November 2015 to May 2017, and Head of Software Development from May 2014 to November 2015. Before Snowflake Software, Adrian worked at Ordnance Survey as a Scrum Master from May 2013 to May 2014. Adrian also had a brief stint as a Freelance Project Manager at Marmalade on Toast in April and May 2013. Adrian's earlier work experience includes roles at National Australia Bank as a Development Practice Manager from November 2010 to December 2012, as a member of the NAB Agile Community of Practice from February 2010 to December 2012, and as a Project Manager - Wholesale Banking from January 2008 to November 2010. Adrian has also worked at Infosys as a Project Manager and Senior Analyst Programmer from 2001 to 2008, at Telstra as an Analyst Programmer in 1999, and at RACV as a Desktop Support Consultant from 1995 to 1998.
Adrian McKenzie completed their secondary education at Wesley College from 1988 to 1993. Afterward, they attended the University of Melbourne from 1994 to 1998, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Computer Science and a Bachelor of Commerce degree specializing in Accounting and Finance.
In addition to their formal education, Adrian McKenzie also acquired professional certifications. Adrian became a Certified ScrumMaster in June 2013 through the Scrum Alliance, and they obtained the Project Management Professional certification in November 2007 from the Project Management Institute.
