John Maloney has extensive work experience in the aviation industry. John started their career as an Information Desk Assistant at BAA in 2004. John later worked at Airport Coordination Limited as an Aviation Slot Co-Ordinator, where they were responsible for issuing airport slots and maximizing runway and terminal capacity usage. In 2008, they joined Ascend Worldwide as a Helicopter Data Researcher, leading the development of helicopter data coverage and establishing a network of contacts within the industry. John then joined Flightglobal in 2012, initially as a GA & Defence Manager, where they worked closely with different departments to assist sales and manage general aviation and military data. John later became a Fleet Research Manager, overseeing a team of researchers and attending key aerospace events. In 2016, they joined Cirium, first as the Head of Fleet Data Research and then as the Director of Aircraft Fleets Research. In these roles, they managed a team, developed industry relationships, and attended aerospace events to support sales and understand market data requirements.
