James Bruce R.

Dr. James Bruce R. serves as the Director of EPIC Initiatives at the Clemson University Eukaryotic Pathogens Innovation Center. They possess extensive experience in academic administration, having held roles such as Professor, Vice Provost, and Dean at various institutions, where they significantly improved graduate enrollment and completion rates. Dr. Bruce has published over 100 works and developed key curricula, including the nation’s first Ph.D. program in Space Sciences. Their research interests currently focus on the incorporation of VR and AR in educational settings, as well as enhancing academic quality through strategic policy development.
