Amber Simco

Amber Simco is currently the Chief of Strategy & Planning for the Threat Hunting Subdivision within the Cybersecurity Division at DHS/CISA, where they lead key initiatives critical to the agency's mission. They have held various roles at organizations such as Lockheed Martin, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, and the National Institutes of Health, focusing on cybersecurity, compliance, and risk management. Amber is also an adjunct instructor at the National Intelligence University, where they co-developed a course for the Cyber Intelligence graduate program. Previously, they served as a senior management analyst and contributed to the development of critical cybersecurity policies and frameworks.
