Anthony E. Carbone

Anthony E. Carbone, CISSP-ISSEP, currently serves as a Cybersecurity Advisor at the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency since December 2022. Prior to this role, Carbone was the Cyber Team Lead at the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency from January 2015 to December 2022, overseeing cybersecurity inspections at DoD cleared facilities. Carbone’s previous experience includes positions as an Information Systems Security Professional at the Defense Security Service, Acting Command Information Assurance Manager at SPAWAR, and Project Manager at Honeywell Technology Solutions, Inc. Carbone holds a Master’s degree in Telecommunications Management from Golden Gate University and a Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems Management from the University of Maryland Global Campus.
