Charles Thomas is a seasoned professional in cybersecurity and infrastructure security, currently serving as Section Chief at the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency since March 2022. In addition, Charles has held the position of Operations NCCIC Duty Officer at NCCIC since May 2012. Previous roles include US-CERT Assistant Senior Watch Officer and Sr Engineer-Information Assurance Incident Handler at General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems from July 2010 to May 2012, as well as supervisory and administrative positions at L-3 Communications and JIEDDO between 2006 and 2010. Charles possesses a B.S. in Information Technology focused on Network/System Administration from Bowie State University and an M.S. in Technology Management with a specialization in Project Management from the University of Maryland Global Campus. Additionally, Charles holds an Associate's degree in General Studies from the College of Southern Maryland.
