Chris Cannizzaro

Chris Cannizzaro is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in national security and space diplomacy. Currently serving as a Senior Advisor at the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency since January 2024, Cannizzaro previously held positions as a Research Staff Member at the Institute for Defense Analyses and as the Director for Critical Infrastructure at the National Security Council, The White House. With a notable tenure at the U.S. Department of State, Cannizzaro specialized in advancing American leadership in space exploration and technology policy. Educational credentials include a PhD in Chemical Engineering from EPFL and an M.S. from Colorado State University.
