Daniel McMasters

Daniel McMasters is a Supervisory Information Technology Specialist at the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency, where they lead the Joint Ransomware Task Force to combat ransomware threats through collaboration with federal agencies and international partners. Previously, Daniel served as a Program Analyst at FEMA from 2016 to 2022, specializing as a subject matter expert in the Defense Production Act Program and contributing to the agency's strategic planning. Prior to that, they worked at the Transportation Security Administration from 2010 to 2016, where they managed audits and compliance for the Behavior Detection Program. Daniel holds a Master of Arts in Homeland Defense and Security from the Naval Postgraduate School and a Bachelor's degree in International Relations and National Security Studies from the University of Memphis.
