Emily Hymowitz

Emily Hymowitz is a Branch Chief at the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency, a position held since 2025. Previously, Hymowitz served as the Director and Assistant Director in the Office of Legislative Affairs at the US Department of Homeland Security from 2017 to 2025 and 2015 to 2017, respectively. Additionally, Hymowitz was a Senior Advisor in the Office of Policy at the US Department of Homeland Security from 2005 to 2015 and began their career as a Research Assistant at Global Security in 2005. Hymowitz holds a Master's degree in Public Policy with a focus on National Security from George Mason University and a Bachelor's degree in International Relations from Lehigh University.
