Gary Benedict

Gary Benedict, CISSP, is the Section Chief for National Exercises at the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency, where they lead the National Cyber Exercise Program. Gary served as a Major in the United States Army from 2003 to present, transitioning from active duty to the Army Reserves in 2007. Prior to their current role, they held positions as a Senior Cyber Exercise Analyst at SRA, a Deputy Project Manager at CRA, and a Claims Generalist at Progressive Casualty Insurance. Gary earned a Master of Arts in Business and Organizational Security Management from Webster University and a Bachelor of Science in Crime, Law, and Justice from Penn State University.
