John Tempone

John Tempone, PMP, currently serves as the Business Management Branch Chief at the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency since September 2022. Prior experience includes the role of IT Project Manager at the Defense Manpower Data Center, where John was responsible for developing project management processes and tools and acting as the lead ScrumMaster. John also served as Program Manager for the United States Marine Corps, overseeing security cooperation programs in the UAE and Saudi Arabia. Earlier roles include Project Manager at Reliability Management Group, where John led process improvement projects in the energy sector, and various positions within the United States Marine Corps, managing budgets and projects, conducting economic and political analysis, and leading operations. John holds multiple degrees and certifications, including a Master’s in Regional Security Studies from the Naval Postgraduate School and certifications in Lean Six Sigma and Risk Management.
