Joseph Larkin

Joseph Larkin has extensive experience in surface security and emergency services within various agencies of the Department of Homeland Security. Larkin served as an Adjunct Instructor at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center from March 2015 to February 2023, focusing on curriculum creation for surface security programs. As a Supervisory Transportation Security Inspector and later as Branch Manager for the Exercises & Training Branch at the Transportation Security Administration, Larkin was responsible for managing training and outreach across the diverse surface transportation sector. Currently, Larkin holds the position of Section Chief for the Emergency Services Sector at the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency, where work involves collaboration with industry and government partners to mitigate risks within critical infrastructure. Larkin's education includes completion of the Mid-level Leadership Development Program in Leadership through the U.S. Transportation Security Administration.
