Matthew Rogers is an accomplished cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in operational technology (OT) and intrusion detection systems. Currently serving as the ICS Cybersecurity Strategy & R&D Lead at the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency since July 2023, Matthew previously held positions such as Lead Cyber Physical & Control Systems/Operational Technology Security Engineer at MITRE and Founding Software Engineer at Shift5, where the development of a core intrusion detection product for military and industrial fleet assets was achieved. Prior experiences include working at the Defense Digital Service focusing on vulnerability research and command and control infrastructure, as well as a malware analysis internship at Dynetics, where a tool for binary identification and vulnerability analysis was developed. Matthew holds a DPhil in Cyber Security from the University of Oxford and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Software Engineering from Auburn University.
