Michael Garcia is an accomplished policy professional specializing in cybersecurity and infrastructure. Currently serving as Associate Chief at the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency, Michael has held multiple positions including Deputy Associate Chief of Policy and Senior Policy Advisor. Experience includes roles at New America as a #ShareTheMicInCyber Fellow, and as a Professional Staff Member for the United States Senate Homeland Security and Government Affairs Committee. As Director of External Engagement and Outreach for the U.S. Cyberspace Solarium Commission, Michael oversaw legislative proposal processes and conducted extensive research on cybersecurity policies.
