Shaun Long

Shaun Long is an accomplished professional in the field of cybersecurity, currently serving as the Deputy Chief of the Industrial Control Systems Section at the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency since September 2021. In this role, Shaun has successfully managed the Malcolm project, significantly increasing user engagement and expanding the platform's reach from approximately 10 to over 500 organizations, while enhancing user experience based on feedback. Prior experience includes a Lead Associate position at Booz Allen Hamilton, where Shaun managed a team focused on cybersecurity engineering and risk management, contributing to successful compliance efforts for the Department of Navy. Additional roles include positions at NetCentrics, Hewlett-Packard, L-3 Communications, and the University of Maryland. Shaun holds a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from the University of Maryland and a Master's Degree in Cyber Security from the University of Maryland Global Campus.
