Tony Collings serves as a Cybersecurity Advisor at the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency since April 2022, following a distinguished tenure as the Deputy Chief Information Security Officer for the State of Illinois from 2006 to 2022. During this period, Tony established the state's inaugural Cybersecurity Program and managed governance, risk, and compliance for 46 agencies, as well as spearheading multiple initiatives including an Integrated Risk Management Program and a statewide Cyber Disruptions Plan. Previous roles include Offensive Security Manager, where Tony developed the Penetration Testing staff and founded the State of Illinois’ Security Operations Center, and Agile Coach/Project Manager, where Tony designed an Agile management framework. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Business and Computer Management from Eastern Illinois University and an Associate of Science in Computer Management from Lake Land College.
