Yolanda W. currently serves as the Cybersecurity State Coordinator for the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency, a position held since April 2021. Previous roles include Information System Security Manager at the Joint Special Operations Command and Cyber Security Engineer at MAG Aerospace. In a career spanning over a decade, Yolanda has expertise in cybersecurity compliance, vulnerability assessments, and risk management, with a strong focus on the Department of Defense’s guidelines. Earlier experience includes senior security roles at STG Inc. and IT specialist roles at the DOD and Veterans Health Administration. Yolanda is pursuing a Doctor of Information Technology with a focus on Information Assurance and Cybersecurity at Capella University, following a Master’s in Management Information Systems from Webster University and a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Fayetteville State University.
