Abrar Syed

Abrar Syed is an experienced finance manager currently serving as the Financial Controller at Cisco ANZ. Abrar previously held various positions, including Financial Controller for both the Service Provider and Enterprise and Public Sector sectors at Cisco from 2019 to 2022, and served as an Assistant Manager Finance at AkzoNobel from 2010 to 2012. Prior to these roles, Abrar worked as a Financial Planning and Analysis Accountant and an Assistant Financial Controller & Business Partner at Tech Data between 2012 and 2016, and began their career as a Functional Consultant for ERP Financials at Jaffer Brothers in 2007. Abrar's academic background includes an ACCA degree in Accounting and Finance obtained from 2005 to 2009 and a Bachelor's degree from the University of the Punjab, Lahore from 2004 to 2006.
