Adam Dirkmaat

Adam Dirkmaat is a Client Architect at Cisco, currently managing the network architecture for the University of Vermont Medical Center Health Network, which includes multiple campuses and data centers. Previously, they served as a Senior Network Engineer at the University of Vermont Health Network from 2011 to 2023 and held the position of Lead Network/Systems Administrator at NASA's Chandra Operations Control Center from 2004 to 2011. Adam began their career as a Unix/Linux Systems Administrator at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center from 2002 to 2004. They earned a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from the Rochester Institute of Technology between 1998 and 2001.
