Ajith Pillai is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience at Cisco since June 1996, currently serving as a Senior Director and Distinguished Architect. Ajith has played a pivotal role in shaping the IT vision and strategy for Order to Cash and Finance system transformation, including spearheading the merger of six Oracle ERP systems into a unified global platform supporting Cisco's $45 billion operations. With a strong focus on architecture, implementation, and support, Ajith has significantly enhanced operational efficiency in Supply Chain and Quality Management, notably achieving a 90% reduction in P1 incidents and creating a new central support team. Previous positions include IT Manager and Senior IT Project Manager at Cisco, as well as IT Engineer roles at Hitachi Data Systems and SingTel. Ajith holds a Master’s degree in Computer Applications from Annamalai University and a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from Mahatma Gandhi University.
