Andrew Biggs is a Principal Engineer in the Cisco Collaboration Technology Group, where they are responsible for the application architecture, development, and operations of core services within the Webex Meetings and Teams Platform. Over their 20 years at Cisco, Andrew has dedicated their career to building robust, secure, scalable, and efficient collaboration platforms in both cloud and enterprise data centers. They have also held positions at Lockheed Martin and Lucent Technologies Bell Labs, and have been awarded five patents in collaboration and security. Andrew earned a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder, as well as two Master’s degrees—one in Computer Science and another in Mechanical Engineering—from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
