Anup Rao

Anup Rao is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in software engineering and system architecture at Cisco, where, since April 2010, Anup has served as Sr. Director of Software Engineering, managing a global team of over 200 professionals focused on Supply Chain capabilities and Agile Transformation. Other significant roles include Chief Architect and CTO for Cisco's supply chain systems, overseeing a team of technical architects, and leading initiatives in collaboration technologies for Cisco's workforce. Anup began a career at Cisco in 1998 as a Software Engineer in Voice Technologies, contributing to significant advancements in Voice Over IP systems. Anup has also served as a lecturer in the Graduate School of Electrical Engineering at San Jose State University and previously worked at Netscape Communications Corp. Anup holds a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Texas Tech University and a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communication from The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda.
