Athanasios Ramkaj

Athanasios (Thanos) Ramkaj, Ph.D., currently serves as Hardware Engineering Technical Lead at Cisco since October 2024, focusing on high-speed Analog/Mixed-Signal design. Prior to this role, Ramkaj was a Senior Member of Technical Staff at AMD, where responsibilities included Analog/Mixed-Signal Design on the Xilinx SerDes team. Ramkaj's experience extends to Texas Instruments as a Visiting Researcher at Kilby Labs, and as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Stanford University, contributing to research in various analog/mixed-signal systems. Education includes a Ph.D. in Engineering Science from KU Leuven, a Master's from Delft University of Technology, and a Bachelor's in Physics from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. Ramkaj has been involved in multiple research projects and internships that demonstrate a strong background in developing innovative circuitry and data converter systems.
