Ayanna John

Ayanna John is a Collaboration Engineering Director at Cisco, where they lead a diverse team of Global Collaboration Technical Specialists. With over 18 years of engineering experience, Ayanna began as a software programmer and transitioned into pre-sales engineering before moving into leadership roles. They achieved Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) certification within 18 months of entering the industry and have since focused on fostering a culture of diversity and inclusion. Ayanna is passionate about mentoring female engineers and actively participates in leadership panels and employee resource groups. They hold a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from Old Dominion University.
