Brett Acton

Brett Acton graduated with a B.Eng in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Sheffield and later earned an MSc in Electronics and Telecommunications from the University of Southampton. They began their career as a Campsite Courier in France, then worked as a Mechanical Engineer at Rolls-Royce, focusing on gas turbine blade cooling. Transitioning into the tech sector, Brett held positions with Sun Microsystems, PA Consulting, and PwC before joining Cisco Systems, where they have served as a Senior Engineer and System Architect for over 20 years. Currently, Brett collaborates with customers in the healthcare sectors across New South Wales while actively participating in various voluntary roles related to sports and personal interests.
