Brian Utesch is currently the Head of Intelligent Experience Research (IXR) at Cisco IT Design, leading a team dedicated to enhancing user experience. Previously, they held various roles at IBM, including Advisory/Senior Technical Staff Member, where they managed the user research program for ibm.com and implemented a UX Research framework across Sales and Marketing tools. Utesch began their career at Sprint as a Human Factors Manager, ensuring the application of user-centered design methods. They also worked at Nortel Networks as a Senior Human Factors Engineer and developed new service concepts in engineering management. Utesch is pursuing a Ph.D. in Human Factors Psychology at Wichita State University and holds a B.A. in Psychology from Baylor University.
