Carol Gal

Carol Gal is an accomplished technology professional with extensive experience in software development and engineering. Currently serving as the Director of Software Development at Cisco since 2000, Carol leads initiatives within the Core and Edge Routing Business, previously held roles as Senior Manager and Manager for the CRS platform router teams, and started as a software engineer for both CRS and GSR routing platforms. Prior experience includes software development at Newbridge Networks and engineering roles at Grouptheory Ottawa. Academic credentials include a Master's Certificate in Project Management from The George Washington University, a Master's in Electrical Engineering from the University of Ottawa, and a Dipl. Eng. in Electronics and Telecommunications from Universitatea „Politehnica” din Timișoara.
