Chris Brannon

Chris Brannon is currently the Chief Information Security Officer for the Security Business Group at Cisco Systems, where they lead a team focusing on information security and cloud operations. With extensive experience at Cisco dating back to 2012, Chris has held various leadership roles, including Head of Security for the AppDynamics Business Unit and Director of Cisco Intercloud Services. They earned a BA in Political Science and an MS in Information Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and have also obtained certification in Wilderness First Aid from MEDIC SOLO Disaster+Wilderness Medical School. Chris’s expertise spans security engineering, application security, and operations management across multiple technology domains.
